After winning his first International Piano Competition in the Netherlands at the age of 11, David Khrikuli quickly emerged on the musical scene. 

The Georgian pianist's numerous successes include winning international competitions and receiving special awards in Georgia, Russia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Kazakhstan, China, America, Italy, Spain and more. Khrikuli participates in solo recitals, as well as collaborates with chamber music groups and symphonic orchestras from various countries. He has performed with the Georgian Philharmonic, Israel Camerata, Israel Philharmonic, Moscow Philharmonic and more. He has appeared on stage together with the P. Casals State Quartet and maintained a close friendship with the S. Tsintsadze State Quartet in Tbilisi, Georgia, for many years. He has taken masterclasses from renowned teachers such as Elisabeth Leonskaja, Rena Shereshevskaya, Nelson Goerner, and others. 

David’s most recent wins occurred in 2024, where he received the 1st prize and a special prize in Cantu International Piano Orchestra Competition and the 1st prize and the audience prize in “Vigo Piano City” International Piano Competition with its renowned jury members such as Martha Argerich, Cyprian Katsaris and others. In 2025, he became a quarterfinalist of a prestigious Van Cliburn International piano Competition.

Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2001, David began his musical education at the age of 8. He studied under professors such as Daredjan Tsintsadze, Revaz Tavadze. Moved to Madrid, Spain, in 2021, he studied under Galina Eguiazarova’s guidance at the Reina Sofía School of Music, now continues with the tutelage of Stanislav Ioudenitch at the same place.
